Biography:

Suzy has always had a passion for healthy eating and holistic living; researching and reading avidly in this area. Her interest has been to understand what is best for our bodies, and how to cook this. In the 1990’s she worked in London as a personal assistant and chef to a commercials film director encouraging healthy eating and good nutrition by cooking wholesome lunches. During this time she also found an enthusiasm for yoga and is now an experienced teacher.

4 years ago she begun studying Macrobiotics and has not looked back. With Macrobiotics Suzy feels her life has become richer and fuller, with more understanding and happiness; and less health troubles. She is now dedicated to feeding her family, and bringing up her children, on a whole food diet; and helping others to understand and enjoy this too.

In 2009 Suzy and her husband moved to the Lake District and have taken on a dream project to renovate a disused farm into a holistic retreat and cooking school with accommodation. She has already set up ‘The Wholesome Kitchen at Sunny Brow Farm' to offer macrobiotic food and cooking classes.
