creamy white stew

Made it up one afternoon during the early Summer rain, whilst waiting for my girlfriend to come home from work, knew that she'd need nourishing soon. Bob Lloyd had taught me how to noursish people so I could easliy make friends, and it worked, she moved in soon after we meet!


ingredients

  • Water, Shitake, Carrot, Mange Tout, Spring onoins, Brocolli,
  • Umeboshi Plums, Wakeme.
  • seasoning - White miso, Ginger juice, Kuzu

instructions

  1. Chop the veg etc and pulp the Umoboshi, place in a pot with water and boil for a few mins Thicken a little with some Kuzu take of the boil Then season with white miso and fresh grated ginger juice.
  2. Adjust quantities to suit number of people
  3. Nice with sourdough Bread.
