Blueberry delight

Tangy on the top & sweet on the bottom, this dessert is perfect for all occasions.


ingredients

  • 3 cups of rice milk, agar flakes (3 dessert spoons), vanilla, rice syrup, a pinch of salt, blueberries

instructions

  1. Place rice milk, agar flakes & a pinch of salt into a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer gently for 10 minutes, until all the agar has dissolved and add a little vanilla and rice syrup to taste. Allow to cool slightly before pouring into serving glasses. Allow to cool until set (usually 45-60 minutes).
  2. Make topping by rinsing blueberries and putting into a pan. Turn on the heat and keep stirring until they begin to soften and open. Add a pinch of salt and stir until you have a jam like consistency. Taste and add rice syrup if desired. Allow to cool before pouring on top of set the kantens.
