Strawberry Jelly or Kanten

ingredients
- Strawberries, organic if possible 1 medium punnet
- Agar Agar flakes 4 tablespoons full for medium set jelly
- Organic strawberry or redcurrent juice 1 packet or bottle
- Brown Rice Syrup for extra sweetness according to taste
- Vanilla is optional
instructions
- Wash the strawberries with their stem on to keep the flavour, then de stem and cut into halves.
- Pour the juice into a large saucepan with AgarAgar flakes. Simmer until they have melted. Stir a little with wooden spoon. Put a dessert spoon of jelly in a saucer & see that it sets to the consistency you want. Sweeten with rice syrup if desired.
- Place strawberries into serving dish and pour the hot juice over them. Leave to set.
- Decorate with fresh mint. Chill if you wish before serving.
