Aduki bean truffles

A very tasty sweet treat


ingredients

  • 1 cup of cooked aduki beans
  • 1 tablespoon of hazelnut butter
  • 2 tablespoons of rice syrup
  • ground almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • a pinch of salt

instructions

  1. Mix the aduki beans, rice syrup, vanilla, a pinch of salt and hazelnut butter. Then add in enough ground almonds to form a dough that sticks and binds together. Roll into small truffle sized balls.
  2. Add a coating of your choice: desiccated coconut, roughly chopped nuts or seeds, cocoa powder, sesame seeds or orange peel. Enjoy!
