Butter bean hummus

This butter bean hummus is light, satisfying and delicious. You can use it as a dip, a spread or as part of a main meal.
ingredients
- 2 cups of butter beans (cooked until nice & soft) or 2 tins pre cooked
- 1 spring onion (finely chopped)
- 1-2 cloves of garlic (crushed)
- Balsamic vinegar (2 tablespoons)
- tahini (1 tablespoon)
- herb salt (to taste)
- shoyu (to taste)
- lime juice (optional)
instructions
- Place all the ingredients apart from the shoyu & herb salt into a food processor and blend together well to form a consistency you desire.
- Add 1 tablespoon of shoyu and a little herb salt & give it a taste. If it's not seasoned enough keep adding until you are satisfied.
- If it tastes like it needs to be lighter, add lime juice or balsamic vinegar to taste.
